Title:  Junior Designer

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in graphic design, visual communication, or a relevant field.
  • Strong grasp of design principles, typography, color theory, and graphic fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in design software and technologies, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • A creative mindset with a readiness to learn new skills.
  • An organized approach with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A portfolio that showcases an aptitude for transforming ideas into visual designs.
  • Exceptional communication and teamworking abilities.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with photo retouching and compositing.
  • Familiarity with web design, Figma, and WordPress.
  • Experience with video editing software such as After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Job Description:

The Junior Designer will support the marketing team in crafting design solutions with significant visual impact. We seek a candidate with a keen interest in design and adeptness in both print and digital mediums. This collaborative, detail-oriented individual should excel in a dynamic setting. The position is hybrid, with two days of in-office work each week. We are located just outside of Perimeter Mall.

  • Generate high-quality graphics and designs for presentation design, one-pagers, print collateral, infographics, social media, emails, ad creatives, and websites.
  • Develop print materials for trade shows, including signage and other large-format items.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite among other software to produce and modify artwork.
  • Engage with team members to brainstorm project concepts and ideas.
  • Collaborate across departments to fulfill marketing-related requests.
  • Draft initial design proposals and refine them based on team feedback.
  • Liaise with printers and other vendors to guarantee the quality of final outputs.
  • Keep abreast of current design trends and techniques.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas.

This role reports to our Marketing Director and is based out of our Atlanta office at the Perimeter. The team works in a hybrid work environment.

  • This is a full-time, entry-level role, open to candidates with or without previous experience in similar positions.
